“Participating in an internship with Sarah was an engaging, fulfilling, and joyful experience for me. I think of an internship with Sarah as accessible and valuable to people from all levels of experience. Having had some previous farming, gardening, and herbalism experience myself, I still learned so many new things everyday. Sarah really offered the space for each of us to shine in our own experience and knowledge while sharing her own wide array of knowledge and skills. I appreciate Sarah’s DIY approach that makes gardening and herbalism accessible to all. I appreciated the steady yet easy going pace and the immersive and hands-on learning approach. Working with Sarah is surely a community building and empowering experience. I also appreciated all the garden goodies I got to take and work with at home! I would happily plant, tend, harvest, glean, process, eat, and get to know plants with Sarah again anytime!
